I must post this review as my first. We needed gluten free and found this gem of a chippy. Their chips are cooked separately so are gluten free and they can cook a fish without batter which is also gluten free. It was the best fish and chips I have ever eaten in my life. I have been to other places in the past and the gluten free batter I have tasted isn’t nice. This is by far the best chippy in Matlock and do the best gluten free. We will definitely be returning if we visit again. The staff are also so friendly and kind and it was a pleasure to eat there.

Many good fish and chip shops in Matlock Bath but these are easily some of the tastiest I've ever eaten anywhere in the country. Excellent value medium cod, chips and peas curry sauce with beautiful flaky fish in a light crispy golden batter. The chips melted in my mouth. Was so good I almost bought another portion. Polite and friendly service.

Ate here today, staff are lovely and efficient and the food was so nice!! I had the medium fish special, will deffo go back when I Visit.

Superb fish and chips. Tasty and delicious. Perfect portion size. Great staff, very friendly. Amazing food and company.
