Riverside Traditional Fish&chips

I'm a veggie, not even a vegan, just veggie. Fish/meat, not for me. All this place can offer is chips and peas. Many other places now realise the age we live in and offer, veggie sausage, or burgers, even battered halloumi! This place doesn't even have cheese pies or potato scallops. Brainless. There may only be a single veggie in a family but they will simply go elsewhere if there is no veggie options. What year are we living in?

The fish and chips are poor and expensive. Greasy, with too much broken up batter. Some chips ok, but over half were brittle. For 10.50, best avoid

The best fish and chips we've had anywhere and we've had a few! Crispy tasty chips and fresh cod in batter. Service was quick and efficient.

We visited on Sunday 6th August, ordered 2 lots of Fish, Chips and Peas, they had to be the worst i have ever had, swimming in grease and horrible. The staff were not caring about anything as long as you paid your £23. Yes £23 for 2 takeaway fish, chips and peas. Only ate half and the rest went in the bin, done nothing but vomit since i got home. Obviously will never ever use again.
