Lwoy's Chinese Restaurant - DERBY

Building outside may look a bit dated but wow inside very clean and the food is great. King Prawns with stirfry vegetables $19.30 and a large serve. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend this restuarnt. We find food in Derby is as good or better than Broome and much cheaper.

We have had a hit a miss with this food place as when we dine in it is lovely albeit a bit dated in style it looks like someones house renovated to be a restaurant anyway the people who run it are lovely and very friendly, the take away however is not so good, we asked for special fried rice and we received white rice with frozen veggies mixed in it ! that for me was a deal breaker so wont be buying take away again.

Well after a bad frozen seafood experience last time at Derbys the Wharfe cafe I thought I'd try this antique Chinese restaurant and I was very impressed with the clean fun and great food. Well worth a visit if even to just admire the place There's not much at reasonable price here in derby but this takes a beating

I would have to say this is some of the nicest Chinese Food I have ever tasted. Southern Chinese style in the best Canton tradition. Only seems to be a touch of msg which allows the true flavours to come through. I had the whole restaurant to myself so understandibly the service was great! This place should have been full. The food is wonderful.

After weeks of camp cooking, we decided to treat ourselves to a meal out and were not let down by this place. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. Although we were the only customers in the restaurant, there was a steady stream of people coming in for takeout orders.
