The Newdigate - Derby

I had a wonderful dining experience with excellent service; the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. The restaurant is very COVID-19 friendly, allowing guests to avoid entering the bar altogether. I felt safe throughout my visit while trying to minimize exposure to the virus.

I have now dined at this restaurant four times. My aunt is a vegetarian, and they offer a great selection of delicious vegetarian dishes. I've always enjoyed the rest of the menu as well. The service is consistently warm and welcoming, making you feel at home without being intrusive. It's a lovely place to eat, and I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed the outdoor setting here. Dining on the patio was wonderful, with a well-covered and heated area. The table service was excellent, and the fish and chips were beautiful.

This is a tough one to rate as I only popped in for a drink. What I did see, though, was an extremely busy bar. The food was served quickly and tasted great too. Staff and the landlady were really friendly too. Will be returning and will be trying their food.

Lovely food, fresh hot delicious,good service. Highly recommended.
