Radhuni - Derby

Go to this Indian restaurant every time I visit my friend and the food is wonderful. This time was no different except the older man who I presume is the manager was very unfriendly we booked and it didn’t seem to have been noted so we were treated like an inconvenience when we sat down there were two big parties there who they were far more interested in than us so we waited half an our for a drink and so went the rest of the evening. The noise was unbelievable and there were children running around it was awful. I have to say Moz was lovely and so was the other young server with curly hair but the older one was very curt and unfriendly. Again the food is wonderful

Take away review, we've been going here for many years obviously happy, but since covid the prices are crazy, we had a sit down meal lager was £4.50 but a glass of soda water was £5!!! I told them it's free in pubs and restaurants. But we still had to pay. So we didn't eat in again. Last night we had a take away which before covid was under £19, for the exact meal as we always have the same last night was £32+ after me complaining it was reduced to £29.75. We can get 3 Mc Donald's meals or 2 Chinese for less than that. We will be going to Mowgli in Nottingham for a sit in meal from now on, a top class restaurant and pay only £40 including drinks. Had out last meal at Radhuni.

Food was spot on, lots of different choices to accomodate all tastes. The service was friendly but very slow, one waiter struggled to collect plates and take a drinks order. Kinda wished he hadnt taken our drinks order now. We ordered Pints of Coke and Lemonade which we then watched them been poured from the 2L bottles and were charged £4.50 a glass!!!! £4.50!!! For soft drinks poured from a bottle??? I know this is where restaurants make there money but COME ON!!! Our drinks order was almost the same as our food order!!! Shame about the drinks con as we would have come back for the food.

Perfection! Great food as always, very reasonable price, easy collection lovely staff! Definitely needed right now!
