Olive Garden Italian - Deptford

This restaurant has the best house salads in this area... The bread and salads are always soft, fresh, and delicious.

Food was great like always, our server was Nick. He was on top of his game. Fast, accurate, accomodating, attentive considering there was 8 at my table.?

We went for a late lunch. The waitress MARIA was nice enough BUT was distracted by her family members her Aunt and Cousin who apparently surprised her. She spent much too much time visiting with them and ignoring her customers. A quick conversation is one thing but we spent so much much time waiting for our food and drinks. She apologized a few times so she knew she was neglecting us. She did give us extra soup and bread sticks to take home at no charge but we would have prefered better service. To top it off, we were overcharged and that took more time to correct. Its a good thing i checked the bill carefully.

I have come here a few times but I don’t do takeout often when I go out because I’ve never had a great experience. However this time i was in a bit of a rush. I ordered inside and a few of the takeout staff helped me in the process. Nick took my order and he was very pleasant, informative and helpful about all my menu questions and regards. He also explained to me the catering situation as I waited for my order as I was deciding on it for a future surprise party for my sister. Everything was very promising and my order came out sooner than expected with everything that was promised. I asked for a few extra chocolates and napkins before I left and that was no issue at all. The food was all very good and I plan on doing my catering from here in the future. Olive garden changed my opinion about takeout! Definitely would recommend.Dietary restrictions: They are very good and helpful with allergies and diets!
