Fishing Rock Eatery Lounge - Depoe Bay

When the dish arrived, I was disappointed to find that the 'four pieces' were each about the size of a broken silver dollar, and maybe twice as thick. They were baked and fried, but still ended up being limp due to their thinness. The waffles were simply the kind you get from the freezer aisle, which I expected. There was a basic coleslaw on the side that was decent, but the fish itself was a letdown. All four pieces were not up to par compared to what I would typically expect at other places. As for the service, it was good whenever we had a waiter. The staff were friendly, even though they seemed to be short-staffed like many restaurants these days. I should mention that my friend ordered a chicken sandwich and said it was good. So my advice? When you visit Fishing Rock, skip the fish.

We always enjoy the performances by the actors, and our favorite is Steve Cook. This was our first visit to the newly named and remodeled lounge. The food was outstanding; we shared a plate of Bourbon pine shrimp and ordered the special BBQ ribs, along with the Prime Rib French Dip and some wonderful hard cider to drink. Everything was delicious, and as always, Steve's music made the evening truly perfect!

Fantastic restaurant! Shelby provided excellent service. The pineapple shrimp appetizer was delightfully spicy. My wife really enjoyed the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. The restrooms were impeccably clean. They also had sports playing on two TVs. We'll definitely be returning!

For the first time there, super friendly, great atmosphere. Pizza brilliant and her chowder to die. The next week was ordered and was just as good. They took so much care to ensure that we had everything from napkins, utensils, packed with care. Will go back.

Chose this place at the recommendation of a lady on a walk, and I'm glad we did. We got great, friendly service on a quiet off-season lunch hour and the food was delicious! We had the fish and chips (only available on Friday, we're told), buffalo chicken pizza, and the cheesecake. Each was well made, served hot, made in house, and very tasty. Has a nice cocktail too! I'm going to be thinking about that cheesecake for a long time... Other features: Easy to find, good amount of parking, new and shiny clean place.
