Zoe Ma Ma - Denver

I had the veggie soup and veg bao both were legitimately amazing. So spicy and flavorful. 10/10

Service was friendly, nice atmosphere. 15% service fee is clearly mentioned on both website and at the order counter. A little weird as the place is setup for self service, buzzer to pick up food at counter and a trash dirty dish area, self service drinks, etc. Had the Ma Ma's Potsticker and the Za Jiang Mian. Potstickers were disappointing, lack of flavor. Za jiang mian was okay, nice portion with a lot of fresh vegetable.

The Dan Dan Szechuan noodles were awesome, and I can't wait to go back. The Dim Sum was lukewarm (at best and although good, it wasn't clearly above other places. Clearly, the Michelin mention for the Boulder place hasn't fully translated into the Denver place. KBYG: the ambiance isn't the best. I found it too noisy with kitchen noise, music, and train station backround. It is counter service, not table service. They have two beers and one wine selection. You face out to the Trains behind Union Station so people watching is really great. This is an area frequented by the homeless, and reliable parking isn't very close. So what to do? Ideally, go in the warm months, sit outside and watch the world go by. It is fairly quick service so you could stop by before or after a Train ride, maybe pre/post a game. Try some Dim Sum (ask for extra Hoisin Sauce! and then save room for a noodle bowl. Alternatively, do the take out.

The food here is amazing! We enjoy dining at this restaurant because the food is always delicious. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt.
