Contribuiți la feedbackWhile in Denver for a convention, I came across Tom's Urban on Larimer Square and made a reservation for that evening. Unfortunately, the food, service, and ambiance were all mediocre. It was adequate for a quick meal, but I was left disappointed as I had expected more. The website boasts a quote from Tom himself about the restaurant's unique culinary experiences, but in reality, Tom's Urban failed to meet this standard.
The restaurant is in a good area, easy to find, and has good hours. The food was honestly way too expensive for what it really is. I probably wouldn't dine here again but it was a good one time experience.
The experience was mediocre. We asked for assistance in identifying gluten-free options and were informed that the menu would have a "GF" label next to them. However, none of the menu items were marked as gluten-free.
We went for the Restaraunt Week menu and invited friends to join us. We were told by the waitress that there was a glitch in the system and it couldn't be offered. However, after talking to the manager, we were able to enjoy the menu as planned. The food was good as was the service.
First time to have dinner there and we really enjoyed ourselves. We really enjoyed the chicken potstickers as an appetizer, the tacos were excellent and their version of a Cuban Sandwich was very good(yes I am a traditionalist). The rosemary fries and the sweet potato fries were great. Service was excellent!
