Contribuiți la feedbackAs a person traveling more than 20 times after japan, I can confidently say that this bakery is not inferior to any premium bakery I have been in tokio! I am delighted that we get this opportunity to try such authentic and qualitatiw high quality Asian brote from template (shokunin). their mixed berries are unbeatable. would recommend to everyone!
Popped in on a whim right after the random snow in May and the whole street was without power. They stayed open and rolled with it and were in great spirits.I had the red bean donut and WOW it was amazing! Lightly sugared and plenty of filling. The iced matcha latte was really good too. Nice atmosphere and really good prices!Definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the beautiful neighborhood.
After hearing so many raves about this place, I am finally joining the crowd to add something nice to say about it. Do they need more great reviews at this point as they are already rated 5 stars? Well, I shall go ahead with it! Tokyo Premium Bakery far exceeded my expectation today. I thought it would be crowded but when I arrived at around 9:30am, there was only one person at the register. This place still has somewhat strict COVID protocol so customers are not allowed to walk up to the bakes goods and pick whatever you want. There are two printed menu with pictures of each item on them so you just have to tell the cashier person which one you want. In a way, it 's a really good practice that the breads/bakes goods are not constantly exposed to contaminants/germs. As I grew up in Japan, buying my favorite bread/baked goods at a bakery in my neighborhood was one of my routines. No matter which bakeries I went, they all had a huge selection of savory ones to sweet ones. The only thing that this Tokyo Premium Bakery is that their selection is not as big as I thought. So some items were simply sold out by the time I got there? Well, next time I go there, I will make sure to go at the open time. I wanted to pick three items but I simply had a hard time choosing so I went with two: Matcha Cream and Beef Curry. Matcha Cream was superb. They perfected the match (custard cream by putting just the right amount of match in it. This was simply delightful. Beef Curry (what the Japanese people call them is Curry Bread was something that reminded me of my days when I was just a kid growing up eating a bunch of the Curry Bread almost weekly. This definitely was my staple of my kid life. They made my morning and stomach so delightful; now I am regretting that I didn 't get a 3rd item!
This was easily one of the most memorable places I visited here in Denver. They've really nailed their milk bread recipe at Tokyo Premium Bakery. The items that stood out to me most was the curry bun and matcha bun. What I noticed is that they used the milk bread for both of these with the difference in how the bread was cooked. The curry bun was fried and so the outer was crispy but you still get that nice pillowy milk bread underneath followed by the savory curry meat sauce. If you're looking for something sweeter, the matcha bun is a must. This one is baked and has a rich matcha cream filling. When I come back to Denver next time, this is the first place I'm visiting for breakfast.
Had my first curry bun and sunrise pastry ever today. Completely hooked soft puffy texture and genuinely prepared. This place is not to miss plus the South Pearl area is a hip spot with a lot of boutique shops to check out.
