J J Bistro - Denver

Was excited by the good reviews but came away very disappointed despite the good service. Got a take-out order of combo Lo Mien, egg drop soup and egg rolls. The egg rolls had no flavor other than the oil they were fried in and the soup (usually my favorite) lacked any flavor as well. The Lo Mien sauce tasted like pure sugar and was very thin, dripping off the noodles. I felt the price was too high for what you get for dinner. I plan to try the lunch special at some point and hope I caught them on an off day.

The chicken was incredibly chewy, making it nearly impossible to eat! I spent $30 on what was hands down the worst meal I've ever experienced. Additionally, the delivery driver looked unwell, with a raw and red nose. When I called to request a refund, I was told they couldn't afford it and suggested I find another place to order from next time. The customer service was terrible, and I would rate it a zero out of five. I will never order from here again!

Recently visited JJ's Bistro and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming. We started with the Wontons, which were flavorful and delicious. We ordered the chicken lo mein, orange chicken, and broccoli beef. The ingredients were fresh, and the seasoning was spot-on. The waiter was super friendly and funny, making our dining experience even more pleasant. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Chinese cuisine. It is a hidden gem!

The food was a bit on the expensive side, but once I received my meal, I understood why—it's truly amazing, possibly the best Chinese food around. The atmosphere is laid-back, and if you're willing to spend a little more on your dish, it’s absolutely worth it.

The orange chicken here is the best we've ever tasted! We highly recommend this restaurant; it's charming with excellent service. The plum wine was delightful, and the fried rice was outstanding. This is the best Chinese food we've had in a long time!
