I took the fried rice as the main course. I was surprised by the excessive acid of the dish because of either too many pickles or too much edgy. the service was good. on a page note they charge $1.02 as a service fee that was introduced during the covid time to help the staff in the kitchen. we can no longer pretend that the restaurants are still affected by covid today, it is regrettable that this restaurant still transfers this money.

The food was quite good, with the small bites being generally better than both the small and large plates we ordered. It was also cost-effective; for instance, we paid $30 for four knödel. However, the service was a bit slow, with a 30-minute wait between our small bites and the larger dishes.

Suppenknödel, Brussels spears with chopbraten, any entree, ivy for dessert. with distance some of the best food in denver!

The food was really great and so were the drinks. The ambiance and lighting is great for groups of a date spot however it’s pretty loud in the restaurant.

Overall, the food, ambiance, and service were good. However, I was disappointed that the server brought the check before we had a chance to ask for it, which likely influenced our decision not to order another drink. Additionally, the birthday candle I had requested in the reservation notes was not provided. Despite receiving a confirmation from the restaurant about the birthday dessert, it never arrived. I had to approach the server to inquire about it, which was quite obvious to my guest and something I had hoped to avoid. The server assured me she would get something, but it took another 25 minutes for it to arrive. My other guest even went to find the waiter to ask about the candle again, and the server responded somewhat snarkily, acknowledging that it does indeed take a while. When we were leaving, I went up to the host stand to ask whether I needed to pay for the dessert, and the server came over to say it was on the house. While I appreciate that, given the mix-ups and delays, I would have rated this experience five stars had it not ended on such a negative note.
