Chipotle Mexican Grill - Denver

Today's experience at the restaurant was disappointing once again. I went in person to ensure that I received what I wanted, but encountered some issues. The manager was on a personal call at the front door and let me in, but there was nobody at the counter to assist me. After a wait, a girl who had been sipping on an employee drink came to serve me without washing her hands or changing gloves. There was a slight language barrier, so I had to ask three times to get corn, which is my favorite part. While most of my meal was decent, the guacamole was not up to par. It contained a large chunk of underripe, rock-hard (yet somehow still brown) avocado from a strange batch. Overall, I don't believe this location is as great as it is touted to be, despite it being the original one.

The portion sizes were disappointingly small, even after requesting extra rice and beans. Additionally, the red salsa and corn salsa were missing. Overall, the location was very disappointing.

Foods pretty good here we live in the neighborhood and have been coming for years. But we'll go to the chipotle on Hamden unless we're force to go to this one because it's usually late, and employees consistently parking in the only two usable parking spots is really annoying because it's very hard to find parking.

Food poisoning... the only thing I ate today and now both my boyfriend and I have liquids coming out both ends. I threw up not even an hour after eating my burrito and now have been miserable for hours on the toilet. Very poorly prepared food quality, be warned ordering from this location.

The Original Chipotle, where a revolution wrapped in foil began, was established on July 13, 1993. As someone who frequents this franchise at least once a month, I recently made a pilgrimage to the location that started it all. I was amazed by the size of the restaurant - the small space with limited seating seemed like a humble start. Parking was a challenge with only two or three spaces by the building, so we ended up parking in a nearby residential area or on the street. Walking into the restaurant felt like stepping on a cloud as they revolutionized how fast food should be prepared, with every ingredient clearly labeled on the bags. However, my positive experience was tarnished by the service at the cashier. Before paying, there was a lot of scanning required using the app, and though I wanted to claim my points and use expiring free Chips, the cashier could have been more friendly. She did not provide our drinks until we asked, and her lack of friendliness and response when thanked left a sour taste in my mouth, making it difficult to fully enjoy the food. Despite the subpar service, I gave the restaurant an extra star rating due to its historical significance.
