Amazing food like always. It was my first time on a weekend and it was soooo loud because they had a DJ. Just not my preference to scream over a table at someone. Don't get me wrong, loved the DJ and vibe but volume was just a bit louder than necessary. Jules, our waiter, was awesome! Food came out fast and hot!
The food was definitely decent, some dishes were amazing and others were so-so. Our serve was pushy and unfriendly, and she generally had a judgmental, uninterested vibe. There was a mandatory 20% gratuity on our bill, although we would have only given 15% for the service we received. On top of that, there were three kinds of tax, plus fees called “historical preservation” and “kitchen appreciation.” Between the gratuity, taxes, and fees, there was an additional $61 added to our bill, which we could not have anticipated when thinking about how much our dinner would cost. They also had the audacity to ask for extra tip on top of the mandatory gratuity. The food was good and the atmosphere was fun but I probably would not come back based on service and the fees.
My family and I really enjoyed our dinner at The Tea Room in Bao Brewhouse. Our server Ashley was the absolute the best!! We really enjoyed the short rib noodles and the shrimp Zumi (sp? . They also offer a variety of cocktails in fun and unique glassware. Definitely will return!
Ok the all you can eat dumplings are def not the way to go they made me and all my friends sick, our server was absent a majority of the time and we'd be searching for him for 15-20mins and no sight of him this happened multiple times! The drinks are soooo over priced and they taste awful I was super excited for this experience but it is definitely over hyped, and over priced and at that point it ruins the experience
