Contribuiți la feedbackAVOID AT ALL COSTS Do you like loads of flavorless and overpriced rice with little to no meat in your dish? You 've chosen the right place! Here I am $25 later thoroughly disappointed in this place. I keep thinking how do I write a review that will help people avoid my mistake. There are never any customers in the restaurant which should be a warning sign, but in the past I 've had alright food here so I came back today. Its not my favorite Thai place in Denton, but it usually delivers on average food. Today was a different story. I looked over the menu to place a to go order and one of the staff answers a few questions for me. She takes my card without even telling me how much the order is. A few minutes later she comes back with a box of flavorless rice with absolutely no seasoning or spice on it and bowl of piping hot soup that most likely came from a microwave. As Gordon Ramsey always says, nothing is this hot that didn 't come from a microwave. It was a to go order so of course I didn 't notice any of this until I am back home, promptly writing this review. And, yes my thoughts are just as valuable as Gordon Ramsey! Try Thai Ocha instead!
Thai dishes are all on point. Fresh rolls and peanut sauce are delicious and refreshing. Mango sticky rice is yummy without being overly sweet. The veggie fried rice however was devoid of vegetables and overly oniony. Stick with the Thai staples and you'll do well.
TLDR: service was good but there are some food sanitation concerns--overall this place has potential and I'll chalk it up to being a new restaurant. I ordered a dish with cabbage in it and two leaves still had dirt on it. I pushed them aside and was able to finish the meal because I was really hungry but this needs to be brought up so this location can reach the potential I believe it has.
Overpriced for what it is, mediocre...wouldn't say it's the worst thai I've ever had, but there's better options in Denton
I give the Thai Restaurant 5 stars because of the food and service. I had the Pad Kee Mow and my wife had the chicken Fried rice and both were delicious. Great lunch!
