Starbucks - Denton

Just a friendly reminder: if you make the drink as the wrong size than what was ordered via mobile app, please don?t dump a tall latte into a venti and only add milk. Whether your system is down or not, a receipt is provided showing the item purchased and I expect to get what I paid for. I watched to see if they would add in the proper amount of coffee and syrup and they did not. When asking the lady at the window if the extra shots and flavor were added into the venti, she kept repeating ?have a good day.? I always try to avoid this location because they always mess up the most simple of orders, but I tried to give them a shot again. Definitely not going back.

The staff was friendly, but waiting 40 minutes for a coffee is simply unacceptable. They had to remake my order once, which added another 10 minutes to my wait, and then to hear them say, “you got the last of our oat milk” felt like a slap in the face.

First time EVER, I was charged $0.76 for creamer when ordering 2 venti black coffees. When I mentioned it to the cashier so she can ring me up, she was confused and didn?t even know how to ring it up, she asked who was charging me that, when I pointed to who, she seemed to not want to dig further, as if the person I pointed to was a lead/manager. She had to ask for help ringing it up, I was then told, ?some people charge and some don?t, it just depends on the day and mood of people?. Also, on a separate day/trip/purchase, I ordered a venti pumpkin spice latte, only to receive a grande in a venti cup. When I showed it to the ?barista?, he had a bit of an attitude and asked me to throw the coffee away so he can remake it. When I received the ?remade? coffee, it was almost the same as the first cup. This has been the stingiest Starbucks I have EVER visited. The ?baristas? aren?t very welcoming and ignore those waiting for help at the pick up counter. I travel across the U.S. for work and have been to many Starbucks locations, this location has been the most unwelcoming/strangest/stingiest/worst of all.

I love Starbucks. I like coffee in general. Yes, it?s a little pricy, but that?s just how it is these days. But my point here with this review specifically is that I always love when the autumn drinks come out. I love ordering the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, and out of all of the Starbucks branches I?ve been to, this one served me the smoothest cold brew I?ve ever had from a Starbucks and really made me feel that the $5.45 I spent for a Venti was completely worth the money. They know what they?re doing here and always smile like they enjoy being there. And it really reflects in what you get. This is now my favorite Starbucks topping the ones where I am from in El Paso, TX.

Parking at this location can be a nightmare as lot is very narrow, and you have to navigate drive through traffic. Other than that, store is typically well stocked, drink ingredients are usually available, and staff has always been friendly and efficient. There's a donut shop next door for that extra pastry or pig in a blanket.
