Jack's Tavern - Denton

This is a fantastic spot to relax and unwind. It has a nice area for playing pool and darts.

I've only visited Jack's Tavern twice, but I plan to return frequently. They host a dart tournament every Sunday at 5 PM, which is why we were there. The dart area is fantastic for anyone who enjoys playing, and the drinks are very affordable. The bar itself is very clean. I would definitely enjoy spending time here on a non-tournament night as well. They have pool tables and plenty of space for larger groups. They don't currently serve food, so it's a good idea to check with them to see if they've resumed food service before your visit. Alternatively, you can grab a bite from the Fat Shack just down the sidewalk and bring it into the bar. By the way, Jack's has the BEST Dr. Pepper I've ever had in a bar or restaurant!

The live music is fantastic, and the service is excellent at this charming street-side restaurant.

I’m giving this place one star because they have nice big TVs. Unfortunately, the two bartenders spent more time chatting and eating than actually attending to the guests. I sat at the bar for three minutes without being acknowledged, even though there were only two other patrons present. I would recommend finding another bar. The atmosphere here feels off, as it seems they cater more to lighter-skinned individuals, which is something you notice as soon as you walk in.
