Firehouse Bbq - Denham Springs

They were out of brisket both times I went to eat there. There beans or excellent.

I had the Ribs, smoke sausage, baked beans and potato salad. The Potato salad was not good to me but everything else was really really good.My complaint is the atmosphere, and service itself… definitely racist. If you’re black then skip this place. It’s a shame because the bbq itself was good! The price was a little over $20 but, they give you a good amount of food for what you are paying for.The racism and atmosphere was a turn off. Will never return!10/14/23

Shrinkflation has hit this place hard... the portions are smaller, and the prices are higher... I waited in store for 26 minutes for my to-go order, that I already paid for. While two tables got their food before I got mine... finally they call for me, and the different girl behind the counter insists I didn 't pay... They need to work on interpersonal communication if this happens so often... just tell the next cashier. This is paid, and waiting it ain 't that hard.Used to be a great place to go for everything on the menu, the Ribs and Brisket still taste great, but paying $20-ish with taxes for 4 ribs, cheap frozen fries, and golfball size slab of mac and cheese.I won 't be doing this again...

I ranked the food 4 stars. I feel like the portions got smaller. I recognize wirh inflation everyone suffers but I'd pay more for the previous portions I used to get.Other than that great service and good people.
