Dukes Seafood And Steakhouse

Duke's Seafood Steakhouse is where we decided to celebrate my Fiance birthday tonight. It was our first time there. We saw and asked the place a few months ago. We said it was good to get there at 5:00 because they were busy. Sure, we were there at 5:00 and sat right away. At that time, maybe there were 3 other tables. We ordered the Gator Bites as an appetizer. They were very delicate. Our waitress, Sarah, was great. She seemed to know the menu well enough and answer all our questions. She recommended the baked Shrimp Classic, so I ordered it, and my fist ordered the Jumbo Butterfly Shrimp. They were PERFECT and we enjoyed the taste of both dishes very much! The presentation for the fried shrimp plate was very creative, we had never seen Steak-Fries like the one before! We will definitely be customers again! We were in and out in less than an hour, and safe enough, the place was PACKED with a 20-minute wait until the time we left.

Absolutely amazing!!! We began our meal with the “Duked Up Shrimp” – a cheesy shrimp dish with jalapeños that you absolutely have to try! The seafood gumbo is among the best I’ve ever had since visiting Louisiana. For our main course, we ordered the seafood plate grilled instead of fried, and it was delicious, fresh, and plenty for my wife and me to share. For dessert, we chose the turtle cheesecake, which was definitely worth it even though we were already full. Our server, Alec, was extremely attentive and polite; I didn't even have to look for him to get a refill. His service alone deserves five stars! If you're in the Denham Springs area, Dukes is a must-try destination!!!

Just passing through and stop and I was impressed . Hush puppies were good and the grilled steak bites tasted amazing ! The charred oysters were awesome as well

The food was great I think this is the best food I ever tasted I heard Louisiana had flavor but wasn't prepared for the explosion of flavor I just got loved everything. The service was greattt .

Come with a big appetite when you visit this restaurant! The food and appetizers are outstanding. My server, Alec, was attentive and very polite. This was my first time here, and I will definitely be back!
