Contribuiți la feedbackI had a fantastic evening at Asaph for two days in a row. The atmosphere was welcoming, the drinks were great, and the locals were very friendly. I will definitely be returning.
The restaurant recently underwent a renovation and changed management, so I decided to give it a try. I was truly impressed by the modern atmosphere and the variety of beers offered. The service was quick and efficient, the restaurant wasn't too crowded, and everything was clean. I will definitely be returning in the future. I highly recommend this place. Also, the new owner seems a bit quirky, but don't let that deter you from checking it out.
My friends and I came to Wales to celebrate a birthday, but we left everything to the last minute. When I called all the restaurants in Betws-y-coed, they were fully booked for Saturday night. I called this restaurant on the off chance they had a table available and the staff were so kind. They were fully booked but told us to come along and they would try to accommodate us if a table became available. We took the chance and we were so glad we did. The pub was lovely and had a great selection of beers and ales. We were seated shortly after arriving and the food was amazing. I had the lamb, which was a whole shoulder and simply delicious. My boyfriend had the pepper pots bark meat, which was also very tasty. Our friends had the steak and ale pie and the salmon, and we all enjoyed our meals. For dessert, my friend's sister had the pears, which were recommended by a local, and they were delicious. My sticky toffee pudding was a little overcooked but still enjoyable. The Stilton and port that my friend had were both excellent. The service was friendly and the staff were happy to chat. Gareth, in particular, was a really nice guy. At the end of the night, we all agreed that this restaurant was the perfect choice. I loved it!
A great little pub with a few real ales and good firma. it is £2:00p a pint on selected beeing on Tuesday.
