Chatwin's Bakery, Carvery Coffee Shop

Stopped in for a quick bite in the early afternoon on 07/02/24. I had a delicious roast beef, stuffing and horseradish sandwich followed by a tasty coffee. The sandwich was filled with tender, succulent beef and was absolutely amazing. The coffee was also very pleasant. I highly recommend this place.

Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I purchased a turkey bap and a beef bap, which usually come with cooked onions, but they had run out by 1pm. I ended up with just plain meat in a bread roll and was charged £13.50 for both. I believe the price could have been reduced considering the lack of onions and the plainness of the rolls. I hope this was just a one-time occurrence.

After visiting the restroom, a member of staff named Janet Jackson approached me and apologized sincerely for the mistake. It was unnecessary, as the sandwich and coffee were both delicious. Another staff member, Molly, also apologized and offered me a free coffee and doughnut as a gesture of goodwill. At first, I declined the offer, but eventually accepted. Thank you to all the staff for their excellent service. I would gladly return to this restaurant. It's rare to find such exceptional service. Well done!

Very poor quantities for the price of the food. The least amount of pork in a small roll I've ever seen and it cost £6. Never again.

Was driving through and had to stop as there were road works. Saw the amazing food in the window. Stopped and purchased food. Had a fully loaded Yorkshire pudding. Pork, bacon, sausage, stuffing and gravy. It was massive. The taste was out this world. Staff were very frieny.
