You'll never come across another spot like this - in fact, you may never even stumble upon it! Tucked away and known mostly to Denali summer workers, but with perseverance and a helpful hand, you'll discover a truly one-of-a-kind experience that you won't soon forget.

I have been searching for this place for quite some time. I often wondered if it was just a myth. A bar in Denali? Are you referring to the park itself, not just the Denali area? Are you certain it's not a bar in Glitter Gulch? I have searched for it multiple times without success. It's difficult to pinpoint its location, as it may feel like you are driving in areas where you shouldn't be. But it's not a myth, my friends. It is listed on other websites similar to Yelp. This place is amazing! It is housed in a building constructed around two rail cars, which is truly unique. The atmosphere is authentic and probably the most genuine in the greater Denali area. Most of the people here work or volunteer for the park or associated businesses. The highlights include friendly bartenders, live music, and a selection of beer and wine only. The beer on tap is exceptional, with options that I have never seen elsewhere in the state. They offer Bota Red and Bota White wines, and everything is surprisingly affordable at just $5. This is a rare find in Alaska, especially in a touristy area like Denali. They also serve pizza, which looked delicious although I did not try it. It is definitely worth a visit, but shh, keep it a secret from your friends! Note that the location marked here is accurate, although your GPS may not be too fond of it. Where's your sense of adventure, anyway?

Spike is excellent. It's one of the best bars with incredible bartenders. It's truly the highlight of Denali.
