Black Bear Coffee House

This place is great! We had breakfast twice, and both times it was excellent. Coffee is wonderful, claimed to be locally roasted (not sure whether it is there or anchorage), all variations you can think but my straight black was perfect. Good food for breakfast, homemade cookies were fantastic, and the bacon some of the best I had. It was very busy both days, but the staff was upset, efficient and friendly. Immersed, but a great view of Healy Mtn. on the deck. Very recommended!

This place is great! You're so nice. The whole food was excellent. I recommend the truffles. Steamdot White Chocolate Mocha was so good. I loved the broccoli salad. It was busy, but they moved people through pretty fast and I didn't have to wait too long for food or drinks.

Coffee was really smooth. Avocado Toast was well done, bacon was fine, although I prefer it Craspier. Denali platter had good sunny side up and biscuit with rich sauce. Salad was fresh. The grilled cheese was a little unusual because it worked some onion in it, but I really liked it. Butternut Squash soup was ok and really nice in a cool weather. They have both inner and outer seats, first come to serve first.

Avocado toast is great although the egg is not casual and pretty. Breakfast is also good.

Excellent place for coffee and breakfast! They even have gluten free and vegan options. We actually enjoyed it so much that we went 2 days in a row.
