I tried to get a drink and was totally ignored. at the end we left. I suggest they don't try to go if they haven't booked a table.
We always call ahead and reserve because it fills up fast, especially on marginal weather when people prefer to eat inside. It is an easy destination on snowshoes and makes a perfect goal. The food is tasty I love their omelettes. They are friendly...and welcoming. And for an on the slopes restaurant, their prices are very reasonable. For downhill skiers, the access is simple and easy. La Petite Ravine is one of our regular destinations.
I have visited la petit ravine a few times, but always in the summer as we in the regular ski on the other side of the valley. it is a wonderful little place to enjoy a cheap lunch on a sunny day. a part of his charm is... that it is so tiny, but from this reason I would definitely reserve in advance. a delicious meal with a glass rose and after lunch we had coffee in the chairs, enjoy the view of mont blanc, the sun and the sound of the **** bells.
I 've skied over 25 times in the Alps, during the last 10 years. Usually I lunch at restaurants on the slopes, what means that I know a good number of them in the area. I can say that, so far, in none of the restaurants...I visited I found a tarte myrtille-framboise so tasty and crispy as the one served at La P 'tite Ravine. La P 'tite Ravine is a small and cosy restaurant for very good savoyard food, and marvellous home made wild fruit pies. Having an impressive view of Mont Blanc is located in the domain of Jaillet. The owner, Sylvie, and the staff, are very efficient and welcoming. This is a restaurant that I highly recommend taking into account the quality of food and service, and because, given the quality, it is not too expensive.
