Taverna Trela - Delray Beach

Kellnerin was pleasant, but: forget, the salat also after my reminding of her false charge on the meal waitress said she would repair it, but without apology - just one thing as it happens all the time

Although we had a reservation, the restaurant was closed when we arrived. we had to find a restaurant.

Terrible experience. They gave away our table to someone without a reservation even though we arrived on time. We ended up sitting on a high top in the bar area rather than waiting another 30 minutes for the next table. Once we ordered , it took almost 2 hours to be served. People who were seated after us were served before us. The waiter was apologetic , but the kitchen was out o& control.

Waited an hour for food despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty. Server forgot drink order then forgot to bring salads. Then waited 45 minutes for main courses. Then witnessed a fistfight outside the restaurant that ended with the police being called. Go to Taso’s in Atlantic instead. So disappointed.

This was the second night, since this restaurant had reopened after a robert irvine restaurant: impossible food network renovation. the personal was not ready. After several customers have gone before us, we finally reached the Hostess-Desk. the hostess told us that she was overwhelmed, and when another hired man came to inform her that no one else could sit for the next 10 minutes, she started crying. the other employee gave her a hug and then the host went away and did not return. the piano player singer was very loud, singing hava nagila (in a Greek restaurant.) we waited a few minutes until another employee came to the hostess desk. we tried to tell her that we were going since they had so many problems, but she couldn't take our name from the waiting list. I wish the owners happy to finish this restaurant. the physical renovations inside looked beautiful. the location is good with lots of parking, but it seems that they were not ready to open again. Hopefully, in a few days they have worked out a better plan.
