Taso's Greek Taverna - Delray Beach

This food was so bad. Over $60 wasted and we threw out 75% of what we ordered just not worth the calories of eating mediocre worse than store-bought. The pita bread was stale. The food itself was very bland. Is the cook allergic to salt and does he know you can cook with herbs and natural seasonings? Why sell this to people? it’s just wrong. With the prices of things right now being so high the least you can do is make something edible.. They don’t deserve to call this Greek food. It’s a disgrace.

Where should I start!!!! Oh dear!!!! And is not Greek coffee either. I was given the grinds of the coffee with some water in it and tasted like three days old. I was told it was Greek and the waitress very resilient I must say!!!! What a disrespect! It’s ok to walk away and refuse service.From previous experiences if the pita and dips taste like garbage, most likely the rest follows.Well! Maybe I should have gotten me a drink to knock off the very painful experience!

I live in the neighborhood over here and have been meaning to try this place for awhile… should have forgotten about it because it’s terrible, ordered a basic Gyro had no meat on it, pita was stale, fries were cold. I called the restaurant to talk to the guy taking orders letting him know I’m not happy. He didn’t do anything to fix the situation just said he would let the owner know. Terrible service, I would avoid this place.

Perhaps the worst Greek food I’ve ever tried. First their phones were down so we couldn’t even place an order. Once we got home we realized they didn’t give us everything we ordered. The moussaka had very little meat and tasted stale. The gyro meat was dry. I would not come back here or recommend.
