Rose's Daughter - Delray Beach

We faced a long wait for our server, and to make matters worse, there was no bread provided with the meal. I had to ask for salt and pepper, which should be standard. The tap water was heavily chlorinated and nearly undrinkable; most establishments filter their water with carbon systems to avoid this. Given the prices, I expected a much better culinary experience. I've had pasta with more flavor at chain restaurants. It also felt like the staff didn’t prioritize their customers’ experience. This isn’t a personal critique of the host, manager, or waitress, but the overall vibe felt rushed and impersonal. In my opinion, they should focus on creating fewer but more flavorful dishes instead of a larger menu of mediocre options. I don’t foresee a long-lasting future for this restaurant. It’s critical for places like this to deliver exceptional quality, especially considering I dined at Papa's Tappa's the night before and found it to be in a completely different league.

I just watched a rerun of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, and I saw your charming restaurant featured. The food looked absolutely delicious—I almost tried to reach into the TV for a taste! I’m not too far away, just a bit north in Fort Lauderdale. I’ll definitely plan a visit soon!

Absolutely amazing! My husband and I have gone twice this week each time we both tried something new and we have been blown away with every dish. My husband even said the sausage and broccolini pasta is the best pasta dish he’s ever had! But I think the mushroom pappardelle is beyond amazing (add seared scallops to it)! This will definitely be a restaurant we will continually come back too!

I had high expectations for this spot, unfortunately I think it fell short.The pizza was undercooked and doughy, the rice balls could have been a bit bigger, the muscles were a nice size and tasted fresh but the broth was tasteless. I was really looking forward to the frutti de mar, again very fresh but the amount of pasta was short and found a couple of clumps that should have been separated. Prior to plating.There were a lot of staff on their phones, chewing gum, eating protein bars and conversing among themselves….. I would not allow this behavior if I owned a restaurant.Just a few adjustments and I think the restaurant would be great.

Food was excellent and priced accordingly. We were disappointed that bread is not part of the dinner unless you pay for it and that price was way too much. Italian restaurants historically give you bread with a meal. The music was a bit loud and did nothing for the atmosphere and took away from the dining experience. It was more club music with a great deal of thumping. But as stated before I will not take anything away from the quality of the food, and Lauren our server was friendly and did a great job. Taylor the manager also did a great job and handled a situation swiftly and what I feel, the right thing to do and why I will return. Maybe the music will be lower by then ?.Parking: It stinks, but that's Delray.
