Hyatt Place Delray Beach

For $400 a night, the hotel felt rundown and in need of thorough cleaning. I was quite disappointed with the coffee and breakfast in the morning. While the staff did their best, the owners need to make improvements to ensure the hotel can compete in this market. Service: 3/5.

This hotel is fantastic! We attended a Christmas party there and had a great time. Everyone was very friendly. Parking was convenient, located right in front. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Rooms: 5/5.

We were here last week. The staff was the best, no matter what we wanted. The rooms were kept immaculate and the breakfast was always good. The parking lot in the lobby was very welcoming and we hope to go back. I don't think I can think of a negative. Rooms: 5/5

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, but I was taken aback when I checked my credit card statement and saw a $430 and a $90 charge for my room that were held from my payment made eight months ago, along with a $48 credit card charge. When I reached out to Hyatt, they explained that the $430 and $90 were authorization holds. I was surprised to find that such a large amount was retained and that they did not mention this at check-in. Interestingly, others in my wedding group did not have these charges on their cards, which raises concerns about unexpected fees that could hit someone for over $500 with no clear reason. If you choose to stay here, be sure to keep an eye on your credit card statements after your stay and stay vigilant regarding unexpected fees from Hyatt!

Great and friendly service from all the staff. Location is perfect for a night out in delray, close enough even to walk directly to the beach if you're feeling up to it. Rooms were clean with the exception of some items left in the fridge by prior occupantsRooms: 4/5
