Contribuiți la feedbackI also ordered a quarter of a roasted duck for $27, and it was dry and old. I ended up feeling sick later that day with stomach pain and diarrhea. To make matters worse, the bus girl, who also acted as the host, was incredibly rude and disrespectful. She was tall, skinny, with long hair, and in dire need of a course on customer relations—her attitude was unacceptable. Overall, my lunch bill was $70, including her tip, and I definitely won’t be returning to this place.
This hidden gem in Delray Beach serves not only the traditional Thai dishes commonly found elsewhere but also a variety of authentic Thai street food. Dining here provides a true insight into the vibrant culture of Thailand and the local dining experiences. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the "food culture" of Thailand. Food: 5/5
The service was outstanding. My appetizer sampler was crispy, delicious, and fresh. The BBQ pork was uniquely different in an excellent way. Everything came with fantastic dipping sauces too. However, it might be worth checking the thermostat, as it felt a bit warm during my visit. Overall, the food was a perfect 5/5.
Absolutely fantastic! Wish I’d found Chaiyo sooner and can’t wait to come back. We popped in for lunch and loved the edamame (the seasoning and sauce were incredible— I’ve never had edamame like this! and fried gyoza for quick appetizers. The lunch special portions were perfect, and I loved that the entrees came with smaller portions of pad Thai, rice and soup to enjoy. Prompt service and delightful ambiance. Beautifully plated food that made even a quick lunch on a random Thursday special! Felt like a little lunchtime getaway back to one of our favorite holidays in Thailand with the signs, street photos, display shelf of Thai products, twinkle lights, and music. Seems to be a local favorite here in the community, and it was fun to observe the comings and goings of fellow diners who knew the staff well! Will be back soon!
Really disappointed in this place with the quality of the food I ordered. Wait staff were efficient and pleasant, but both the Larb Gai and the Drunken Noodles were not good. The Drunken Noodles, in particular, had the worst noodles I’ve ever had in a Thai restaurant; just gelatinous and mushy and overcooked. I can’t recommend them at all, no matter how much I would like to.
