Empire Wok Delmar N.Y Chinese take- out empire one of the better ones around for take-out, spare ribs was adequate, a bit dry. Shredded beef and string beans had nice flavor but should be more meat added,Shredded chicken with string beans,instead of Shredded should be bigger pieces added.shrimp broccoli had nice flavor .House special fried rice was lacking shrimp ,pork,chicken. Chicken wings delicious cooked perfect. Shrimp egg roll was dry. A few tweaks empire wok would do better for long time frequent customers .ingredients are fresh. So happy to find a truly Vegan Chinese restaurant. The food is excellent and the prices are decent. Vegetarian options: There is a variety of veggie options. Sorry there's no soup though Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

They are okay but there are other take out places that are better in the area. The service is pretty good when you pick up food. There is a large plastic barrier between you and the employees which can make it difficult to hear, but this isn't about the building. The food is okay. It's nothing to rave about, but nothing that you wouldn't order again if you were desparate on a Monday and you favorite chinese take out was closed. The issues is all of the food was pretty bland and lacked flavor and spice. For a change we got an order of Crab Rangoon and although you could tell the fryer oil was fresh, the product itself was nothing special. We both ordered the special combination General Tso's Chicken and once again, any heat that you thought might be there was lacking. Most places I have ordered this from has a few of the huge red peppers in the container. You know not to eat those unless you want your insides on fire now and 8 hours later, but at least it flavors the dish. With their's there are no peppers, no real spicy seasoning at all.
