The Warehouse Italian Dinners

Holy heck- talk about a tiny GEM in Delaware off 23....the food is so good I have been twice within a week! Let's first talk about the complimentary warm-served bread with homemade whipped butter--yes I've had dreams about this bread and butter since my first taste. My ultimate goal in life was always to lay in a bed of warm laundry and eat bread--well people, I've found the BREAD AND THE BUTTER!! The whipped butter is homemade and takes hours to whip. Best believe you can certainly taste the difference from homemade whipped butter compared to these other big name restaurants off Polaris like brio who use third party butter wrapped in foil.. OK now on to the Italian wedding soup--Jesus done came down from Heaven with this recipe. I've had every italian wedding soup in this city and haven't tasted such an authentic recipe since Zuppa went out of business in Grandview, upper Arlington and Zuppa Downtown. Hands down the best and I'm pretty sure the people in the next booth could hear me saying out loud how amazing it tastes. Salad- most dressings are homemade. Definitely try the parmesean ranch- homemade and thank me later; They say they are hiring on the sign but you turn in a resume and never get any calls back. They should probably remove the sign just a suggestion

Food was delicious and not over bearing with seasoning. Just the right amount food for portion size (maybe a little much). Hubby had the chicken Parmesan and I had the lasagna. We just found our new go to for Italian food. Our server was Carolyn and very attentive and answered our questions about the menu. We did have about a 20 minute wait but worth it

The service was fantastic. The food was delicious. I left my credit card there and didn't realize it they were getting ready to close. They were very gracious and said they would hold it until I could pick it up. Two days later, when I picked it up, the waitress remembered me, and they were very kind. The crusty bread and they serve with your meal what you hope for at every Italian restaurant.

Honestly should just be a carryout spot. This is the 2nd time I 've visited and the food is good, don 't get me wrong but the service was poor. My girlfriend and I whose from Delaware and family has visited in many occasions always recommends it. Now to the bad part. It 's Friday at 5pm and the man who is taking reservations is telling everyone its a 10 to 15 minute wait. Clearly a lie because there is a handful of people sitting down. I was like ok put our name in as Bell because it was clear the way the man was speaking to his staff and to us by jabbering and rudely saying give me a name ok... Then we sat down off to the side on the left minding our business. 10 minutes pass by and a couple sits next to my girlfriend waiting for like a minute before asking did you SAY OUR NAME? Man who we find out later is the owner says no. Sits another two girls that were in after us and I felt something was off. Maybe 5 minutes pass and then he sits the rude couple down and I look at my girlfriend. This is wrong I have to say something. So I told the man hey sir we were here before that couple He said what? Check our name it 's under Bell. He said no name like that is down on my list. I was like how can you look me in the eye and said OK after writing my name down. He then said maybe next take that opens up. My girlfriend says no thanks we are leaving. The owner says BYE! to my girlfriend obviously gaslighting us. I got upset and said look this is wrong. How can you run a, place like this and treat us like this? He shrugged like he didn 't care. I leave and I come back trying to see if I can talk to the owner. He said surprise I am the owner so sorry! I straight up think the guy is either a racist or just inept and running a restaurant. My advice to owner please sell this place, hire someone kind to run the front desk or change your behavior.

I have been here twice now and boy was I pleasantly surprised. The Italian wedding soup is AMAZING! The shrimp scampi was delicious. And the flat bread pizza... YUM. Service was great both times, we were seated right away. Ambiance is perfect for a date night.
