Buttercup Bakery - DeLand

I’m not sure if I ever spoke to the owner or a manager, but the employees I did reach out to kept taking my information and promising that I would receive a callback—either the same day, the next day, or on a scheduled date. None of those promises ever came to fruition. I patiently waited because I truly wanted to support this small business for my corporate event. Having worked in the service industry for a long time, I can say that the level of disrespect and the games I encountered here is unlike anything I’ve experienced with any other business or individual. It would have been straightforward and professional for them to simply inform me that they weren't interested in fulfilling my order. I hope that in the future, they will show greater decorum and respect toward potential clients.

Thanks to Buttercup Bakery, I was able to fulfill my daughter’s dessert wishes for her baby shower. She had her heart set on cake pops. I attempted to make them myself, but things didn’t go as planned; some cracked, and others fell off the sticks. So, it was a huge relief when I visited this bakery, and they assured me they could do it. I showed them the picture, and they delivered! The cake pops were not only beautiful but also incredibly delicious—an absolute hit at the shower!

We ordered Buttercup's chocolate and red velvet gluten-free mini cupcakes for our son's rehearsal dinner, and they were fantastic—perfectly decorated as well! At the wedding, we served Buttercup's gluten-free carrot cake cupcakes, and they were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend their gluten-free cupcakes!

It was good. The banana split cake was awesome. And they have so many ducks to look at. Got a mango tea. It was kinda weak as they just put the teabag in so your usually done drinking it before its actually tea but the mango flavor was good. Woulddefinitely reccomend

It was a nice experience. The banana split cake was fantastic! There were also plenty of ducks to watch, which was fun. I ordered a mango tea, but it was a bit weak because they simply placed the teabag in the cup, so you usually finish drinking it before it has time to brew. However, the mango flavor was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place!
