Angelina's Pizzeria - DeLand

The veggie pizza they served me came with meat on it. I asked for a new one to be made quickly, but when I got it, I only had a slice because I had lost my appetite. The crust was fantastic, though.

I ordered a Sicilian pizza, but what I received was a completely burnt disaster. This is totally unacceptable!

I love Angelina's Pizzeria! I usually go for the paprika pizza, but sometimes I treat myself to the pizza sub, and I've never been disappointed. If you've dined here and weren't happy with your food, I encourage you to give it another try—you won't regret it!

We have tried almost every pizza/Italian restaurant around Deland since 5 years ago, and this is by far the BEST! We decided to come on Saturday night and I read the reviews of another restaurant that was from Publix and they were not good. But I saw the people who told Angelina and waited to go there instead. Now I know why. You have great customer service! The guy who took my order was very pleasant and answered all my questions. The food is absolutely delicious!! We ordered pizza, eggplant parm, chicken tortellini (the best) cheese balls and roasted ravioli. The garlic bread is over! This is our way from now on.

Maybe we shouldn't have done the Sicilian pizza first time trying Angelina's. Not sure what happened here...maybe they ran out of cheese? Way too much sauce here and like less than 50% of the pizza had cheese? So much sauce I had to remove most of it. Added a star because the actual Sicilian pizza dough was good.
