Jake's Del Mar

I usually don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so with Jake's Del Mar. I went there for Sunday brunch with my fiancée and a close couple. We were promptly seated at the patio, which is right on the beach with a striking view of the ocean. The atmosphere and food were exceptional--truly noteworthy; and the prices are more than reasonable. Further, our waiter, Joe, who has worked there for six years, was the best waiter I can recall having. His timing and courtesy were top notch. If I were to own my own restaurant, I would emulate what Jake's Del Mar presents to its patrons. Great job, and thanks Joe!

Gorgeous oceanfront view with delicious food! The beet salad is fresh and amazing and the Brussel sprouts are super yummy! Great starter to share. Always awesome service.

Was a rainy day so Valet service was appreciated. We had reservations so seating was prompt. Our server, Meghan was excellent. All in all, a wonderful brunch morning.

Love this place so much! We go every time we’re in town.
