The Square Pub - Decatur

This place is yummy. Consistently good, speedy, friendly service. Delicious food. Great location situated overlooking Decatur Square. We ordered the buffalo wrap and Chile Burger. Both were delicious. Our food came really fast.

The food is wonderful and the service is awesome. We had the green chili burger ,crab dip, and the bob went to California club and loved each of them. Highly reccomend,

Tough Competition. Absolutely nothing wrong with this place, no doubt that they're in the middle of some tough competition for pubs on the square... so not sure they'd get as rough treatment in reviews if they were elsewhere.I stopped in for a couple glasses of stout and enjoyed some deep fried avocado and a green chili cheeseburger. Everything was tasty and certainly went well with a couple beers. Not a huge place and can get a little loud with a full house, but there's certainly nothing wrong with this place. Folks working there seemed really nice and accommodating.

The Square Pub is along what I call the Decatur “Wall of Restaurants”, a row of eateries just south of the Marta Station near Church Street. It’s a pretty pub with a good beer selection, and an emphasis on the use of (New Mexican) green chiles. You can find them in quesos, on burgers, and in enchiladas. Turkey Burger with side. green chile chicken enchiladas. It is an easy place to get into, with plenty of casual pub fare. In the couple times I’ve dropped by here, staff have been really good. Since many of the highly regarded pubs in this area have lines out the door, being able to stretch a little and talk to a neighbor in less than a shout might appeal. Nice little pub that was NOT TOO CROWDED when all the other mega trendy places were bursting at the seams acting like they had no use for our cold hard cash. The square pub took us in with friendly service, good food, and a decent beer selection. Come here amd empty your wallet without waiting 45 minutes!
