I discovered this bakery while searching for cookie places nearby on Google. My friend ordered the Mississippi Mud brownie, and I chose the Brown Butter cookie. Let me tell you, these were two of the most delicious treats I've had in a long time! The portions are very generous, and the prices are comparable to other gourmet bakeries. This place is truly a hidden gem; I never would have expected to find something as amazing as Mel's tucked away like this. It's easy to locate, just a quick turn off 6th Avenue.

This place is a paradise for dessert lovers, with great prices and everything I've tried being delicious! My absolute favorite is the brownie bites—if you haven't tasted them yet, you're really missing out! My only complaint is that during my last few visits, you've been closed even though you were supposed to be open. It's quite inconvenient, especially when I've driven 45 minutes to get there.

Mel 's has delicious treats in shop, cute kits for holidays, and excellent cookies in the case. My personal favs are the strawberry teacakes and the old fashioned oatmeal drop cookies. I grabbed some cute ice cream shaped sugar cookies, a Top Dad cookie, and some reese 's peanut butter. Mel 's never disappoints!
