Famous Monster Pizza - Decatur

A perfect juxtaposition between insanely good pizza and ideal ambience. The cheese on the pizza is stringy, like I remember from pizzas from my childhood. It's fun to look at all the memorabilia, and they play movies that you can turn a speaker on beside your table to listen to. If this weren't two hours away I would come here on the regular.

The pizza was great and service was quick. We had the Frankenstein pizza.

Great First time, fantastic to watch cult classics while eating great pizza.

Thought I reviewed this one, before. I've been here many times. I've got nothing but good to say about their very, very cheesy pizzas. And while they technically offer Supreme, meats, taco, Buffalo chicken etc... (just under more fun names) they taste better than you'll usually get, elsewhere. I remember being most impressed by the difference between their Buffalo and others I've had.Of course, the atmosphere being a nostalgic feast for the eyes is a huge reason to come in.If I HAD to pick a negative, I had a salad once and it was... just a salad. Nothing spectacular. Probably because it's, you know, a pizza place. I only bring it up because people need something negative to read to make them satisfied.Attached are a couple pics from last year.

Pizza was delicious definitely coming again. Service was excellent as well. Atmosphere could have been better , but I think that could have been the vibe they were going for.
