Kimball House - Decatur

We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Their oyster selection is amazing. I had never tried absinthe, so I got my feet wet with a cava+absinthe cocktail- perfect with oysters. Who knew? My husband had their New Tokyo cocktail with his (which he loved, even though he usually likes his scotch/whisk(e)y straight but went off the recommendation of our waiter). Also, we were a little surprised at how they served the mignonette, but it was so much easier to use in dropper form! And because my husband loves that peet-y flavor in his scotch, our waiter gave us the Peet Monster to have with the oysters. Also. Their homemade Hawaiian rolls were fantastic! We cannot wait to go back!

This is the place for you in Decatur ! It’s posh, pricey (worth every penny)and freaking fantastic .Please go !!!!! Wow !!

The food and atmosphere we amazing. The staff is well versed in the menu and their attention to detail is fantastic. My only issue with The Kimball House is that it can be loud but it won't stop me from going in the future!

Perfection! My partner and I dined here for the first time tonight for his birthday. Everything was lovely. We love the vibe of the place. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. The food was amazing, and my partner loved his cocktails. I have several food allergies, and I’m so grateful that the Chef was able to accommodate. This is now one of my favorite restaurants, and I can’t wait to go back.

My fiance and I celebrate our anniversary here on Sept 9th. When we got there everyone was wishing us happy anniversary they even have a glass of champagne for us. I had the best steak dinner well tasty and flavorful and he had the fish which was also delicious. From now on this will be our favorite little spot.
