Pepe's Cantina Debary

I'm teetering on 3/4 stars. The food and drinks were good but really expensive. I'm used to paying $14 for a margarita at Disney. Not at a restaurant that looks like a hole in the wall. (It's a white building that is easily passable if you're not paying attention. I did enjoy the food. I got the shredded chicken enchilada which was $17. It came with your choice of rice and refried beans or black beans. The portion size was perfect. The service was extremely slow. We came in at 5:30 and were the only ones there. We had to tell our server we were ready to order. At the end, we all had our credit cards out hoping that he'd take a hint that we were ready to leave. We didn't leave until about 7. The place was filling up but I'd say there was still only about 5-6 groups of people and a few at the bar. It got extremely loud in there too even with so few groups of people.

Astrid, excellent service was my birthday. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and like a queen, in family with husband, daughters, grandkids, and son in law, thank you, Astrid, for all assistance

This was our first visit to Pepe's Cantina. The service was great. Our server was attentive and on top of things. The stuffed Avocado appetizer was great. We had the salmon bowl, which was very tasty and a chicken dish. The taste was great but the chicken was a bit overcooked and dry. The refried beans looked appetizing and were delicious. The Restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. I would recommend Pepe's for a nice night out.

Food was delicious. Chefs tacos were amazing and the carnitas verdes was packed with flavor. Hidden gem in debary. I highly recommend this place. I’ll be back!!!
