Our table was dirty, and when we asked for it to be cleaned, the host asked us to hold onto the menus while he went to get the necessary supplies. As we sat down, he sprayed a cleaning solution onto a metal table with holes, causing the liquid to drip onto our legs. Despite ordering a burger and fried ravioli, we waited over 30 minutes for our food, even though the restaurant was not busy. The table next to us, which arrived after us, received their appetizers, meals, and paid before we even got our food. When we inquired about the delay, the manager was rude and unhelpful, simply telling us to wait. Overall, the experience was terrible and we would not return. The prices were high considering the poor hospitality and service. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
We came here a year ago and it was amazing, but after this last weekend I can say that the quality has gone down the hill in every case. the menu changed and they were from about 4 dings. my man has the stock pocket and he said it was really good, but it doesn't come with something else so they have to order each side separately and the items were really small. I have the lateral garnel sampi (3 little garnel) we have spent 68 dollars, eaten everything and left starving.
Don’t waste your time or money. Three ribeye dinners cost $170, as the menu didn’t list the price, “market price.” Two were ordered rare that came out medium and one medium rare came out medium well. We should have sent them back, but we waited 30 minutes for the steaks and we didn’t want to wait that long again. The place is nothing special to see, so I’d recommend going across the street.
This has been a frequented restaurant that my wife and I loved going to every time we were in the Hills, but over the past year you can tell things have changed. I don't know if they have lost there kitchen staff but the menu, food quality, and portion size have all taken a hit. Surrounding high quality restaurants have improved in that same time so my guess would be that the staff ended up moving. It a real shame because this place had been top notch for so many years, hopefully they can recover.
I travel frequently around America and seek out exceptional restaurants. This place was once among the best restaurants in the country. Their blue cheese dressing, pastas, steaks, osso buco, and drinks were top-notch. However, I'm not sure if they underwent a change in kitchen staff, but the menu has been significantly altered. Despite this, it is still a wonderful place. Hopefully, they can bounce back from the impacts of COVID and political issues.
