Athletes kitchen is based about a healthy restaurant it is located in a nice and quite place known as “ al warqa mall “ the member of staff in the restaurant are polite and friendly. In my point of view the chicken Cajun with chipotle and Mayo sauce is the best dish in the menu along with the unique signature dish avocado rice. The price is very affordable and worth the price 5/5
Athletes Kitchen could be a health food enthusiast paradise. Originated from UK and recently opened its first branch here in UAE at Al Warqa Mall, Dubai. The menu offers a decent range of healthy food options from salad, mains to cold pressed juices. They also serve all day breakfast. We ordered the bestseller Athletes Benedict (2pcs. of 60grams sweet potato patty topped with sliced avocado and 2 perfectly poached eggs and their low fat hollandaise sauce). The yolks were vibrant orange and creamy that you need to scrape your plate when done. Tasted divine, the combination of the sweet potato and poached eggs is a marriage made in heaven. The Caesar Salad at Athletes Kitchen is the best and most enjoyable salad we’ve tried so far. Combination of 70grams grilled chicken strips, cherry tomato, parmesan cheese and croutons served on a bed of romaine lettuce, topped with poached egg anf caesar homemade dressing). It came in big portion with fresh ingredients. The yolk gives richness to the emulsion and the dressing gives flavor in each bite. This is the kind of salad that we can eat everyday when we want to start eating clean and stay healthy. The Lean Beef Burger (150grams beef patty topped with iceberg lettuce and tomato and light garlic mayo in a healthy brown bun) at Athletes Kitchen is a proof that healthy and at the same time tasty burger exist. The patty was thick and the veggies were all fresh. We chose Sliced Avocado as sides and since we love cheese, we added low fat cheddar cheese for additional 5aed. We also tried the Bulk-Up Wrap (chicken with sweet potato, ice berg lettuce, chipotle mayo and upgraded the white flour tortilla to protein wrap for additional 3aed, served with a salad). It was surprisingly delicious though it’s a bit spicy. Filling, that you’ll be able to stay full for a couple of hours and completely guilt free as well. For the mains, we tried the Grass Fed Tenderloin. All dishes are served with salad, a non-premium side and a choice of sauce. We paired it with brown rice and broccoli as sides. It was presented beautifully. The beef was tender and even though it’s healthy, the taste was not compromised. Having this with sticky teriyaki sauce was very delish. The Crusted Salmon on the other hand was tender, moist and crunchy. We chose sweet potato chunks as sides with lemon creamy sauce. They also have premium sides like the Avocado Rice. I must say, it’s a real winner! Eating rice while staying fit and healthy is not impossible here at Athletes Kitchen.
Such a gem of a place. Was talked about it via a foodie like myself. Service was great. Nice little place with relaxed vibes. Portions are superb and the price is very decent for the ingredients going into the dishes. A must try is their avocado rice and their new (not on menu yet whole wheat pasta main course is to die for. Flavours of the pasta dish were excellent as well I would like to see more of this tasty restaurant in diff locations and would like to see salmon as a side too : Deff coming back for more ... Keep it up !!!
Good and healthy food for diet conscious people. a must try is Cajun Chicken with avocado rice! For breakfast must try Poached eggs. This place is a must try
