Top Of Daytona - Daytona Beach

Rolls were hot, but rock hard. Girlfriends Caesar salad was wilted with almost no crunch, chicken was dry. My filet was cooked beautifully but probably not 8oz, disappointed with the one golf ball sized red potato and serving size of green beans. Girlfriend ordered an appetizer that never came, wasn?t on the bill and we didn?t like the food enough to give them the chance to bring it. I just asked for a box, paid the bill and left, only way I would?ve left happy was agreeing to pay for our 2 drinks tip, which won?t happen, so it wasn?t even worth bringing this up. Nice restaurant. We were not even there for an hour. Mostly waiting on food. We left and got food at the hotel plaza resort and spa that was better and cheaper than this. Can?t even say I paid for the view because our reservation was at 8pm after sunset, and all ocean facing lights have to be off this time of year. If you?re going on vacation and are planning a nice day with your S/O breakfast, walk on the beach, couples massage, etc etc , I don?t recommend here for dinner.

Food was amazing! Hot fresh rolls right out of the oven! Best steak we have had in months! Highly recommend the strip steak! Our server Kyle was so efficient and knowledgeable of the menu. Request him if you want an awesome server. We can?t wait to go back.

I?m giving 5 stars for the view and only the view!! enjoyed the sunset and the beach. Service was slow, felt like our waiter forgot about us. My husband took me here for our date night. However , I feel like we got ripped off : We had the smoked fish dip and braised short ribs. The portion was disappointing fish dip tasted like cream cheese with a hint of fish and it came with 3 small toasted bread the size of a potato chip? the braised short rib tasted like pot roast had we known? we would?ve gone for the steak instead lol not worth 150 for an appetizer 2 entrees and 2 drinks.

1. Views were amazing! 2. Our server was amazing! That?s why it?s 3 stars?3. dinner rolls amazing! Manager and steak filet? not so amazing. Ordered medium rare, came well. I normally would never even say anything but $47 you really should get it the way you ordered. Second one a half hour later(or longer) was worse? medium well. Not an ounce of pink in the steak. I didn?t want to wait so I told my server I would just eat it. Thank God it was served with gravy!! Anyway, $9 discount so on my way out I thought I would just check with a manager and see if they would maybe just give me a $25 gift card for next time. Nope! He was a bit rude and arrogant but he did offer a 20% discount on my next meal for two.Not from the area so not sure I will ever use but I really just wanted a great steak for the money. I think you?re paying for the view and that was awesome!!

Beautiful view, great cocktail. The foie gras was undercooked, the lobster ravioli had overcooked un-chewable lobster pieces, and when my husband mentioned that the steak is overcooked and very fatty(more than usual) the waitress started arguing that we don’t see the color right from the hurricane windows and he should have chosen another type of steak if he doesn’t like a fatty New York strip. We weren’t looking for comped food, but she asked how is the food and we told her. And the answer is to start arguing? And I am not even mentioning the prices, but that we expected. Just for quality food.
