Panda Express - Daytona Beach

The orange chicken is delicious, and the portion size is generous compared to other Panda Express locations I've visited. The rice is also quite good.

The green bean chicken breast was tasty, but the rice was a bit clumpy and the orange chicken was soggy.

The Chow Mein lacked flavor, and there was very little beef included; it was mostly just broccoli.

I dined here with some friends and overall, the experience was quite pleasant. The food was good, although we did have to wait a while for it. However, I wasn't disappointed. The interior is really stylish and beautiful. As for the mobile menu, I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Similar to nearly every other Panda Express I've visited, the portion sizes here are small, while the prices are on the higher end for quick-service restaurants, a trend not unique to this location. The food is enjoyable, and I appreciate the buffet-style setup that allows me to see my serving being prepared. However, like many quick-service restaurants in the post-Covid era during the Great Resignation, the staff seemed more focused on operating the registers rather than maintaining cleanliness by wiping down surfaces and emptying trash in the lobby. This isn't the fault of the employees who were present and busy; rather, it's a reflection of staffing shortages. I would dine here more frequently if the portion sizes were larger or the prices were more reasonable.
