The Root Beer Stande - Dayton

First time and we LOVED IT!! Per the hubby, the Reuben was good but cabbage could 've been chapped smaller. I had the Philly and it was FANTASTIC! REAL MEAT! No paper thin meat here! Cauliflower and Corn dog 's wer cooked completely and hot and the Funnel Fries Sundae is to die for!

Three stars feels generous. Maybe we didn’t order the right things off of the menu? Literally the worst hot dog I’ve ever eaten in my life. All I tasted was mustard. The root beer was nothing exciting. The churros were the only thing that made it worth it.

The food tasted amazing. However, the service was pretty slow. I understand being short staff, but don't understand that everyone that arrived after me got their food before my family did and we had ordered first. All in all though, if the service is a little slow... the food and of course the root beer tastes incredible.

Old school place, I'm so glade my 7yr old got to experience this place as I did and her grandparents did. Best root beer

If you like a waitress with a bad attitude, over priced food and to wait 30 minutes for a burger and fry, you'll like this place. All the reviews I read said it was so great and I decided to try it. My wife, son and I ate lunch there and we had three sandwiches, three fries and three drinks. and bill as $35.00. When I asked the waitress about the bill she got angry and gave me attitude. Not to mention that we waited 30 minutes for our food and they weren't that busy. I went, I tried it and won't return...enough said.
