Red Robin Gourmet Burgers And Brews

We visited two days in a row. The experience was decent. The first day, we had a wonderful waitress and excellent service. The food was average overall, but the onion rings were outstanding, the fries were fresh, and the burgers were delicious. On the second day, the wait staff was average and the food was lukewarm.

The food at Red Robin was exceptional as always. The Royal Red Robin is a favorite dish of mine. However, the seating was uncomfortably cramped, with high top booths that weren't very comfortable. Despite this, there was plenty of parking available.

Our server Dylan was welcoming, lively, and delivered excellent service without being overbearing. We started with the pretzel bites as an appetizer, which were followed by tasty burgers. Although I wouldn't suggest the garlic fries as a side choice, it's not because they were poorly made; it's just that the sweet potato fries I tried were far superior. Additionally, the raspberry limeade I ordered was not only delicious and refreshing, but thanks to Dylan, I never had an empty glass.

The restaurant wasn't very clean or kept up, but service and food was good. I got the Arctic Cod garlic fries. The cod was pretty tasty

I was honestly not very impressed with this restaurant. My party consisted of an adult, a teenager and. 7 year old. We had stopped by here for dinner on Friday 5/19/23 around 730pm. The restaurant was not very busy and was probably at half its maximum capacity. We ordered two Red Robin burgers, an order of onion rings and an appetizer of mozzarella sticks, as well as one draft beer. In total with tip my bill was approximately $75. Our table was wiped down right before we were seated which left the table and seats visibly wet. It didn’t make sense to me that they would ask us to sit down at this table when it was so wet although it is apparently standard practice for them to leave the tables this way and let them air dry. We didn’t complain and just used the three utensil napkins to dry the table. Although another party did complain and that’s how I heard that this was standard practice. Which I’ve never heard before in any other restaurant I’ve visited. Our server was not the best and made us feel a bit rushed. She did not bring us any napkins with our food and she only returned to the table once after I got up and grabbed napkins on my own from the bar. I only left her a 12% tip which was a bit high for her in my opinion. I would rate our food along the lines of fast food quality. The mozzarella sticks were Luke warm at best and obviously just reheated frozen boxed food. I would definitely not recommend the onion rings. The price was outrageous for what you get. They are one whole slice broken down into separate rings for around $9 or so which were room temperature as well. The burgers were alright but definitely not gourmet. The buns tasted as though they came out of a package and weren’t reheated and the hamburger patties were a bit smaller than McDonald’s portions. Overall I would have to recommend people going somewhere else.
