Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken - Dayton

I visited this restaurant on Monday, June 14th around 6:00 PM and I must say, the chicken dinner I had was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious! The crispy chicken was cooked perfectly, and the green beans and mashed potatoes without gravy were delicious. I washed it all down with some sweet tea. The staff was very friendly and worked well together. Your employees are your best asset, so make sure to treat them well.

I have dined at Lee's several times with much better experiences. In all honesty, this time I was there to take advantage of a free snack promotion, which included 2 jumbo chicken strips and a biscuit. I always make sure to purchase something else from the menu when redeeming a free promotion because I understand that a business cannot sustain itself by giving away free food. However, on this occasion, I was not served something that would encourage a first-time visitor to return. The chicken strips were very small, definitely not jumbo, and were overcooked and dry. I have ordered chicken strips from Lee's before and they have been much better than what was served to me this time.

The cashier was extremely impolite when I placed my order, she had a bad attitude.

I have lived in Dayton my entire life, and I recently tried Lee's for the first time. I was really impressed by the friendly staff and the evident pride the kitchen staff takes in their work. The food was absolutely delicious! I can't believe I had never tried Lee's before. Compared to other chicken restaurants, I think Lee's has the best tasting chicken. The spicy option was particularly good, with a nice crispy texture.
