This really is one of the better restaurants in Dax. And great for a family on a sunny day. Sitting on the terrace enjoying good food and good wine. Why is it one of the better restaurants? Because they try harder than most to make it slightly more interesting. Details matter and they obviously took the time like de-boning the veal chop to get the bone crispier before serving. Great simple bistrot with a nice touch, pleasant staff and excellent location.

Beautiful setting, on terrace in the very nice and smiling nature. Once again we made an exception for my meal by preparing a beautiful and good vegetarian plate with fresh vegetables. it is best to book.

We were in the area as a curist and we went twice in the week to the boulogne wood bistro. the first time with friends and the second just as a couple. It's worth the detour. beautiful, quiet, quiet. very welcoming staff. The kitchen is excellent. We recommend without hesitation.
