Big D's Bbq - Dawsonville

We've found a new favorite stop on our way home from the wineries in Dahlonega! I usually call ahead to place our order and enjoy dining outside. My favorite dish is the corn bites. As for the meats, we all have our personal favorites, and the combo options are fantastic. Plus, my picky daughter, who is specific about her food, absolutely loves the chicken here!

Food Ribs were awesome! Perfect bark and perfect tenderness. Service on part service. Atmosphere what could you not want? The smell of awesome BBQ is what I would expect.

They really excel at what they do, but now it’s a bit difficult to find parking. They definitely need to add more parking space!

I'm always on the lookout for locally owned restaurants while traveling, and Big D's did not let me down. We ordered pulled pork and sliced brisket, both of which were delicious. The collard greens were fantastic as well! The staff was friendly, and the service was quick.

This place has the best Brunswick Stew in Dawsonville!!
