Mcdonald's - Dawson

Delicious ice cream made for a perfect break during our long journey.

This is honestly the best McDonald's between Valdosta and Atlanta. Their food is always fresh. I've taken this route many times over the years, and 9 out of 10 times, my order is spot on. Today, my fries were a bit hard, but my soda was fresh, and the pickles, bacon, and cheese were all perfect. I’ve seen other reviews mentioning slow service or rudeness, but I’ve never experienced that myself. Even when I order something different, I'm still satisfied. I do expect a little wait because they serve fresh food, and I can imagine they might be short-staffed. One odd thing was that we had to ask for napkins, as they weren't provided.
