Belinda's Dining Room Dawson Westmark

We ate breakfast and dinner during our two day stay. The service was excellent and the servers were very helpful and attentive. We opted for the breakfast buffet and there were so many choices of delicious items. Dinner choices were good with specials each night. Generous portions and each of us ordered something different and savored every bite. Delicious! The desserts were exceptional.

Because our own hotel was unable to provide us with breakfast because of staffing problems, we went across the street to Belinda’s. We both had the buffet, which is adequate without being in any way outstanding. A la carte items are available but are generally more expensive.

Great breakfast buffet with a choice of cold side or hot side. Tasty and nourishing breakfast. Little or no waiting in line. Wait staff was understaffed. And one waitress baled on providing the basics in customer service. Several people commented on how rude and impolite she was. Bad hair day? Maybe. But it was obvious that she did not want to be there. Overall, this establishment does a real good job of delivering what they offer.

Good food for what it is and for where you are. I chose salmon with mango salsa with rice and veg. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Not sure how they got mango up there but it was probably out of a can and was pretty tasteless. Plenty of lightly steamed veg which was fantastic. Breakfast was the usual buffet of scrambled eggs, sausage etc and fruit plus a huge range of sickly sweet pastries.

They had a good selection of breads, fruits, yogurts and overall breakfast selections on the buffet. The service was good and very friendly and helpful.
